Kinner Kailash is a holy peak located in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh. The religious significance of the mountain comes from a 79 feet vertical rock formation on its summit that resembles a Shivalinga and changes colour as the day passes on. The mountain is considered sacred by both the Hindus and the Buddhists and the spiritual parikrama or circumambulation begins from Kalpa via Triung valley and comes back to Kalpa via Sangla valley. However the adventure trek starts from Thangi in the town of Kinnaur.

hamlet provides the most stunning pleasure retreat to a traveller. Perched on the hilltop overlooking the Kinner Kailasa ( the abode of God Shiva) and fed by Sutlej river Kalpa is a part of Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.The massive snow clad scene dominated by Kinner kailash provides Kalpa a regal dignity. These mountain display a grand theatre for spectacular sights early morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and golden light. The evenings are equally mesmerizing and romantic. Day 3 rise up ealy and proceed towards Charang village, an Ancient Himalayan Hamle and a seat of Rangrik Monastery. Overnight in village home stay in Charang.
Day 4 Is mostly for the Acclimatization so that your body adjusts to the change in altitude and temperature. Pay a visit to the Rangrik Monastery and go for a guided village discovery tour.Overnight at Charang
The trek continues from Charang to Lalanti, a beautiful campsite with vast stretches of wild flowers.Camp for the night beside a stream in Lalanti.
From Lalanti, the trek moves on to the base of Charang La.The climb is steep and the trail passes through Moraine Glacier.Overnight at the base camp og Charang la
From the base camp, a two hour steep trail over a rocky terrain takes one to the Charang pass.Pass the Charang La and descend down to Chitkul village. Set up your tents and rest for the day.
The trek ends at Chitkul .Proceed towards The Sangla valley which is enthralling and tranquil, even with the Baspa River gushing down its beautiful slopes. The valley is famous for the Kamru fort, the architecture of which resembles that of the Bhima Kali complex. The rulers of Bushehar originated from here.Cross Sangla and Head towards Shimla.
