Also, get a fine feel of the distinct culture of the locale as you stay in some winsome Nepalese hamlets that belong to Gurungs and Magars. The peak of Poon Hill towers at 3190 m and treats you with mesmerizing sights of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) summits. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be escorted to your hotel by a representative where you will check in with a traditional welcome. You can also take a stroll around Kathmandu which depends on your mood and condition. At night,indluge in the local discovery at Kathmandu by visiting Thamel' where you will be treated with a traditional dinner and a chance to do some shopping.While strolling past the bustling streets of Kathmandu, you will suddenly notice that you have

stepped into a place known as the heart of Nepal’s tourism, i.e. Thamel. This place will fulfill every wish of yours as it’s a one stop destination for of craft shops, boutique cafes, restaurants, bars and even tourist oriented shops.

Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Meet our local guide for a full day city tour of Kathmandu. You will be visiting Patan, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath which all are rich in culture, heritage and
picturesque beauty. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara

Post breakfast drive to Pokhara. On arrival in Pokhara you will be instantly awed by the Phewa Lake and the laid back atmosphere it has on offer. Use this day as rest to enjoy Pokhara and the serene environment which comes along with it. If time permits go for some sightseeing including Davids Falls and the Mahendra Caves.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikledhunga

After having breakfast and a brief rest start your trek . The trek starts from Nayapul which is about one and half hour drive from Pokhara. The first day is relatively easy as you will find yourself just walking uphill on a gravel road. Soon afterwards the road gets transformed to a trail and you cross the Modi Khola (river) and reach Tikledhunga. This will be your final destination for the day as we check into a lodge and have dinner. (Total trekking time for today 5-6 hours)

Day 05: Tikledhunga to Ghorepani

Wake up early on Day 5 around ( 7am ) have breakfast and start your trek . The day’s hike is quite challenging as you keep walking straight towards the mountain for about 4 hours which takes a stern test of your stamina. But it is rewarding as well as you catch picturesque views of the white snow capped Annapurna peaks. Stop for lunch in between and after an hours rest set off for Ghorepani which is about 3 hours of hiking. Ghorepani is divided into a upper and a lower part . Stop at the upper part which has superb panoramic views of the Annapurna range and the surrounding mountains. Overnight at Ghorepani .

Day 06 Ghorepani to Ghandruk

Wake up early at 5 am to head towards the majestic Poon Hill which is about a 45 minutes hike to catch the sunrise. After reaching the top of Poon Hill welcome the magnificent views of Annapurna (8091M) , Dhaulagiri (8167M) and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail mountain ,6993 M) . This view is the focal point of the Ghorepani-Poonhill Trekking route and you can spend hours being amazed by it. The rugged snowy peaks towering above covered in splashes of blazing sun is just the thing that brings so enthusiast to this route. Return to Ghorepani, after having breakfast and some rest , embark further towards the direction of Ghandruk Village. From here onwards you continuously encounter the majestic Himalayas and it would be hard to stop yourself from stopping every instance and click some photos. You will pass along a parallel ridge and some downhill routes into dense rhododendron forests and waterfalls .Finally reach Ghandruk Village which is inhabited by the Gurung people and is mostly occupied with stone houses. You can wish to spend time in sight-seeing which involves a museum, a temple and a monastery. The views are again amazing and you would just want to watch the mountains forever.

Day 07: Return to Pokhra

Today embark on your descent towards Pokhara which is about 13.2 kms . Stop for lunch in
Birethani and relax for a while for the final small hike to Nayapul which is only 2kms away now. After reaching Pokhara, Check into your hotel and you are suggested to rest as the toll of the trek on your body starts becoming visible. You can also have a massage in town and recharge yourselves.

Day 08: Return to Kathmandu

Return back to Kathmandu
